E-Safety

All schools and colleges should have robust e-safety policies and procedures that set out how to safeguard against and respond to online safety incidents. These must be understood and followed by all staff, volunteers, children and visitors.

At Cumwhinton Primary School, we take online safety very seriously and e-safety is actively taught in all classes.  We regularly invite people into school to discuss online safety with our children and engage with parents whenever possible.  We also hold many dedicated assemblies on e-safety. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's safety when using a computer, please contact the school and we will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have or answer any questions.

Cumwhinton School uses the KAPOW Scheme and our Jigsaw PHSE/ RSHE scheme to deliver high quality e-safety teaching and learning programmes for our pupils. These schemes also enable us to raise e-safety awareness so that our pupils are able to negotiate the online world safely.
