Viking Broaches

In creative afternoon we made broaches out of clay to link in with our Viking Topic.

We are working really hard this term to learn to spell all the words on the year 3 and 4 word list.  Each week your child will bring home a list of words to learn for a test which will usually take place on a Friday morning.
Welcome back to school for the Summer term.  I hope that you all had a lovely and restful break.  I have attached the topic grid for this term and the class timetable, we have had a slight change around to accommodate  both the catch up swimmers and the change to football coach session.

If you would like some extra spelling punctuation and grammar practise there are some great games on this website.  Comma castle is particularly good!

Lit Film FestA Tale Unfolds

Thank you to everyone for agreeing to take part in the national writing competition.  We used the excellent information and guidance from the Wright brothers at A Tale Unfolds to produce a film and entered it into the YouTube supported Litfilmfest competition and were winners for November! Our film was then filmed and edited professionally.

Masters of the Digiverse: Cumwhinton Primary LitFilmFest Winner

LitFilmFest winner for Masters of the Digiverse! These children used the Masters of the Digiverse project from to create their own balanced argument video telling adults about life online.

During our English lessons earlier on in the term we created a film using balanced arguments to discuss the digital age.  You can watch it by following this link:
